Optimal for WLAN coverage in your warehouse to use the Mobile App.
To use the JTL Mobile App you need a MDE device. In order for picking, stock transfer, goods receipt etc. to work smoothly, the MDE device must be continuously logged into the WLAN of the Mobile Server (this is started on the PC of the packing table via its Internet connection). If the connection is lost, work with the Mobile cannot continue.
The aim is therefore to ensure that there are no WLAN dead spots in the entire warehouse.
In VERY large warehouses, where one or more MDE devices are used to pick many different halls, separated by many walls or other disturbing factors, modules with "Hand-over-Protocol" are required. But these are complicated to set up and usually very expensive.
Many dealers, however, have only one storage room. For all these warehouses, mesh routers are the optimal solution.
They are easy to set up via app. Mesh routers then cover a very large area with the same WLAN signal without losing the connection to the mobile app. Already with the two set you can cover up to 350-500m² (the coverage depends strongly on the setup of the warehouse).
Another advantage: the set is expandable by additional routers at any time, so you can cover and add to an area as large as you want.
